Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia discuss cooperation issues

Azerbaijani Minister of Defence Industry Vugar Mustafayev, who is taking part in the World Defence Show-2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has held several meetings as part of his visit.

Mustafayev met with Saudi Arabian Deputy Defence Minister Abdulrahman bin Muhammad bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf Al Muqrin. During the meeting, the sides discussed the opportunities for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia in the defence industry and expressed interest in exchanging experience, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence Industry told Caliber.Az.

Moreover, Mustafayev also met with Head of the Iraqi Defence Industry Commission Mustafa Ati Hassan, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Iraq Muhammad Al-Darraji and the management of the Spanish Escribano Mechanical and Engineering company. The views on the development of existing cooperation and other issues of mutual interest were exchanged during the meetings.
