Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia talk over military cooperation in Riyadh PHOTO

A delegation from Azerbaijan, led by the Head of the Department for International Military Cooperation, visited Saudi Arabia to participate in a meeting of the Joint Military Committee of the Ministries of Defence of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh.

The Azerbaijani delegation was received by General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces, and Major General Saad bin Mohammed Al-Qasiri, Director General of the Department of International Cooperation at the Saudi Ministry of Defence, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Defence.

During the meetings, officials exchanged views on the current status and prospects for the development of military cooperation between the defence ministries of Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia, as well as other matters of mutual interest.

The visit concluded with the signing of the Joint Military Committee protocol.
