Azerbaijan seeks partnership with Nvidia on AI skills and strategic technologies
Azerbaijan has held talks with US technology company Nvidia on potential cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on workforce training and the application of advanced technologies in strategic sectors.
According to Caliber.Az, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, shared details of the discussions in a post on the social media platform X.

The talks took place during Nabiyev’s visit to the United States at a meeting with Calista Redmond, Nvidia’s Vice President for Global Artificial Intelligence Initiatives.
During the meeting, the sides examined opportunities for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Nvidia on the development of sovereign national artificial intelligence platforms and the modernisation of government services through the use of high-performance computing resources.
The discussions also covered the core components and key stakeholders of a sovereign AI ecosystem, the development of startups, training and capacity-building in artificial intelligence, and joint initiatives to deploy Nvidia technologies across strategically important areas, Nabiyev noted.
