Azerbaijan sends another shipment of humanitarian aid to Ukraine
Azerbaijan has dispatched another batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, reinforcing its ongoing support for the country.
The latest shipment, comprising electrical engineering equipment, was sent from the Sumgayit Technologies Park, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The delivery was organized by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy under a directive from President Ilham Aliyev.
Azerbaijan has previously provided humanitarian assistance to Ukraine focused on the electricity supply, highlighting a continued commitment to supporting the country’s energy infrastructure amid ongoing challenges.
The consignment included 12 low-voltage panels, 11 generators, five transformers, and 27,000 metres of cables and wires. The assistance, provided at the request of the Ukrainian side, is valued at $1 million.
