Azerbaijan sends humanitarian aid to Pakistan following devastating Sindh floods PHOTO
Azerbaijan has delivered humanitarian assistance to Pakistan to support recovery efforts after severe floods hit the country’s Sindh province last year, according to Azerbaijan’s embassy in Islamabad.
The aid, coordinated by the Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA), was distributed to 400 affected families, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The packages included essential food supplies and basic necessities aimed at supporting households still recovering from the disaster.
Officials described the initiative as a reflection of close bilateral ties and solidarity between the two countries.
“This action marks another manifestation of the friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, and clearly demonstrates the importance of mutual support and solidarity,” the embassy said.
