Azerbaijan sends message marking Atatürk memorial day in Türkiye
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has issued a message on social media marking Atatürk Memorial Day, observed in Türkiye as Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.
In a post on X, the ministry extended congratulations to the people of Türkiye and paid tribute to the founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Caliber.Az reports.

“On May 19 – On the occasion of Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, we sincerely and wholeheartedly congratulate the fraternal Turkish people and remember with profound respect the cherished memory of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk,” the statement said.
The ministry also expressed respect for those who died during Türkiye’s struggle for independence, offering prayers for the martyrs and wishing blessings on the national holiday.
