Azerbaijan, Serbia discuss military-technical cooperation at ADEX-2024

On September 25, Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with Nenad Miloradovic, Assistant to the Serbian Defense Minister for Material Resources, during the 5th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition (ADEX) in Baku.

Col-Gen Hasanov visited the Serbian state company Yugoimport SDPR's stand, where he reviewed the latest samples of weapons and military equipment on display, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry,

During his meeting with Miloradovic, Hasanov highlighted the strong ties between Azerbaijan and Serbia, grounded in their strategic partnership, and stressed the significance of enhancing military cooperation between the two nations. The two officials discussed the current state and future prospects of military-technical collaboration, along with other matters of mutual interest.

The international military exhibition, ADEX, is the region’s biggest event in the field of defence industry providing the participants with a unique opportunity to meet with military leadership of Azerbaijan, as well as the international military and defence community. ADEX is a platform for selling products through direct buyers, ordering companies, influencers and end users.

Along with products for the navy, aviation and army, the exhibition is an ideal ground for presentation of Homeland Security products. ADEX facilitates the exchange of experience among participants, visitors and experts in the sector, and a chance to upgrade products in accordance with requirements of the regional defence industry market.
