Russian, Azerbaijani deputy PMs convene intergovernmental commission in Astrakhan
Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexei Overchuk and his Azerbaijani counterpart Shahin Mustafayev are currently leading a high-level session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the two countries in Astrakhan.
The meeting aims to further deepen bilateral economic ties and enhance cooperation across a broad spectrum of sectors, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media sources.
“A meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan is taking place in Astrakhan. The delegations are headed by the co-chairmen of the commission — Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev,” the source stated.
This session is expected to address ongoing collaborative projects, trade relations, investment opportunities, and strategic partnerships, reinforcing the longstanding economic partnership between the two nations.
