Azerbaijan, Serbia explore deeper military education cooperation Photo
Azerbaijan and Serbia moved to strengthen cooperation in military education this week as a delegation from Serbia’s University of Defence visited Baku for discussions focused on training, curriculum development, and foreign-language instruction within their armed forces.
The visit, held under the two countries’ bilateral military cooperation plan, included detailed briefings on Azerbaijan’s National Defence University and its network of specialised military schools, Caliber.Az reports via Defence MInistry.
Azerbaijani officials and the Serbian delegation discussed opportunities to expand collaboration, particularly in the fields of officer training and language education, and addressed questions from the visiting academics.
During the program, the Serbian delegation toured several key institutions, including the Military Management Institute, the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev, and the Jamshid Nakhchivanski Military Lyceum. At the lyceum, guests were also briefed on the life and political legacy of Heydar Aliyev during a visit to the on-site museum dedicated to Azerbaijan’s national leader.
The visit concluded with an exchange of gifts and a group photograph.
