Azerbaijan, Serbia strengthen defence cooperation with high-level talks PHOTO

On June 14, the Minister of Defence Industry of Azerbaijan, Vugar Mustafayev, met with a Serbian delegation led by the Minister of Defence, Bratislav Gašić, to discuss expanding defence cooperation between the two nations.

The press service of the Azerbaijani ministry told Caliber.Az that Mustafayev emphasized the crucial role of the heads of state in fostering bilateral relations. He highlighted the existing strong cooperation across various sectors, including the defence industry, and expressed optimism about successful technology transfers and joint production projects.

Mustafayev extended an invitation to the Serbian delegation to attend the 5th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition (ADEX-2024), scheduled for September 24-26, 2024.

Gašić, expressing his satisfaction with the visit, thanked his Azerbaijani counterpart for the warm reception. He underscored the importance of such visits and joint projects for enhancing bilateral relations and noted the significance of participating in international defence exhibitions.

The meeting concluded with discussions on expanding cooperation in the defence industry, organizing business trips, and other topics of mutual interest.
