Azerbaijan showcases ASAN Service innovations to Turkish, Slovak officials PHOTO

The management of the Turkish TÜRKKEP company and a delegation from the Slovak Foreign Ministry have visited Azerbaijan as part of an official visit, during which they viewed the activities of the ASAN Service center. 

The guests were provided with detailed information about various initiatives of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the president of Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports via local media. 

They learned about the ASAN Service centers, which were established on the initiative of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and the social innovation projects which are being implemented.

The State Agency received the UN Public Service Award in 2015, the UN Special Award for Development of Public Services Using Digital Governance in 2019, and was named "The Most Advanced Public Service in the World" under the "Global Government Excellence Award" Programme in 2023. The visitors were informed that the ASAN Service model has been successfully applied in various countries. 

The delegation expressed their deep admiration for the achievements and innovations of the ASAN Service centers. During the visit, the delegations viewed the activities of the INNOLAND Incubation and Acceleration Center, the Mobile ASAN Service and ABAD public legal entity.

“ASAN service” center under the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No.685 dated July 13, 2012. “ASAN service” centers are the bodies to ensure the realization of the services to be rendered by the state entities in a uniformed and coordinated manner. “ASAN service” centers are designed to form up a new approach towards ensuring the citizens’ satisfaction in functioning of the state servants in relation to the population and to enrich the quality of relations between state servants and citizens. The functioning of the centers is based on the principles of operativeness, transparency, ethical behavior, responsibility and comfort.
