Azerbaijan showcases culture and cuisine at Sverdlovsk region fair PHOTO
Azerbaijan made a significant presence at the "Irbit Fair 2024" in the city of Irbit, Sverdlovsk region, organized by the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Yekaterinburg and the Azerbaijan-Ural Public National-Cultural Organization, with support from the Urals representative office of Azerchay.
Azerbaijan’s 60-square-meter exhibit featured national ornaments and the names of prominent Azerbaijani cities like Shusha, Khankendi, Shirvan, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Baku, Lankaran, and Gazakh, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
A special tent was set up, adorned with traditional musical instruments and filled with the sounds of Azerbaijani music. Visitors were treated to a display of national dishes and sweets, offering a taste of Azerbaijan's rich culinary heritage.
The Azerbaijani exhibit attracted numerous guests, including Sverdlovsk region Governor Evgeny Kuivashev, former Governor Eduard Rossel, the region's Ombudsman Tatyana Merzlyakova, various officials, and members of the diplomatic corps. They explored the cultural displays, enjoyed Azerbaijani cuisine, and expressed admiration for the country’s vibrant culture during a tea party hosted at the exhibit.
