Azerbaijan signs cooperation agreement at World Defence Show 2026 PHOTO
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defence Industry, Vugar Mustafayev, is leading his country’s delegation at the World Defence Show 2026 in Er-Riyadh, showcasing the nation’s latest military technologies and equipment.
The Azerbaijani pavilion features 127 products from the AzerSilah Defence Industry Holding, alongside 53 units of modern military equipment from local companies, including 6LSystems, RD Smart, Q-STP, Synapline, USH Group, and ITX Motors, Caliber.Az reports per the Ministry of Defence Industry.
The World Defence Show 2026 brings together cutting-edge military technology, equipment, and systems, with over 773 companies and more than 441 official delegations from 76 countries participating. The organisers expect over 106,000 visitors during the course of the event, which runs until February 12.
During the exhibition, Minister Mustafayev held talks with Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Robert Kaliňák, resulting in the signing of a memorandum to expand defence industry cooperation between the two countries.
Minister Mustafayev also met with Malaysian Defence Minister Dato Seri Haji Mohamad Khaled Nordin to discuss opportunities for technological partnership and broader collaboration in the defence sector.
The World Defence Show 2026 continues to serve as a major platform for Azerbaijan to demonstrate its growing capabilities in military technology and international defence collaboration.
