Azerbaijan, Slovakia discuss expanding military cooperation PHOTO
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defenсe, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, held talks in Baku with Slovakia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defenсe, Robert Kaliňák, to discuss strengthening cooperation in the military, military-technical, and military-educational fields.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the current state of bilateral defence relations and explored new opportunities for partnership and joint initiatives. They also exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual interest in the defence sector, Caliber.Az reports per Defence Ministry.
Welcoming the Slovak delegation, Colonel General Hasanov expressed satisfaction with the visit and underscored the importance of further developing military ties between the two countries.

In turn, Kaliňák thanked his Azerbaijani counterpart for the warm reception and hospitality, and congratulated him on the fifth anniversary of Azerbaijan’s Victory in the Patriotic War.
He noted that reciprocal visits play a key role in expanding defence cooperation and fostering closer relations between Bratislava and Baku.
