During his meeting with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the ministers discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as regional and international developments.

“Had a productive exchange with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, on the sidelines of the high-level week of UNGA80, where we discussed the current state and future outlook of our bilateral and multilateral cooperation,” Bayramov said.

The two ministers signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain on Exemption from Visa Requirements for Holders of Diplomatic Passports, marking a new step in facilitating diplomatic exchanges between the countries.

In the same vein, Bayramov met with Angolan Foreign Minister Tete António to discuss strengthening bilateral relations through political consultations and expanding cooperation in trade, economic, and humanitarian spheres.

“Delighted to meet my counterpart, Foreign Minister Tete António of Angola, on the sidelines of UNGA80. I underlined that cooperation with African partners is a key priority for Azerbaijan’s foreign policy,” Bayramov said. “We look forward to deepening bilateral and multilateral engagement with Angola, including in trade, economy, and humanitarian areas.”
