Azerbaijan, Tajikistan discuss cooperation and WUF13 preparations
Azerbaijan and Tajikistan have held discussions on bilateral relations and preparations for the upcoming World Urban Forum (WUF13), which is set to take place in Baku.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Tajikistan Alimirzamin Askerov met with the head of Tajikistan’s Sughd Region Rajabboy Ahmadzoda and the Mayor of Khujand Firdavs Sharifzoda.
The Azerbaijani diplomat shared details of the meeting on the social media platform X, noting that the discussions focused on the current state and future development of bilateral relations between the two countries.

“Honored to meet with the Chairman of the Sughd province, Rajabboy Ahmadzoda & Mayor of the Khujand city, Firdavs Sharifzoda. Discussed current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations,” Askerov said.
The ambassador added that the meeting also included an exchange of views on preparations for the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), which Azerbaijan will host in Baku.
