Azerbaijan to hold another meeting with Garabagh Armenians in Yevlakh

Azerbaijani officials will hold another meeting with the Armenian residents of Garabagh in Yevlakh in the near future.

The date of the meeting is being specified at the moment, Trend reports.

Azerbaijan's central authorities will be represented at the meeting by MP Ramin Mammadov, responsible for contacts with Garabagh Armenian residents.

The previous meeting with the representatives of Garabagh Armenians was held on September 21 in Yevlakh under the flag and coat of arms of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan's central government was represented at the meeting by Ramin Mammadov, responsible for contacts with Armenian residents living in the Garabagh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Bashir Hajiyev, deputy special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the territories of the Karabakh economic region (excluding Shusha region) liberated from occupation, and Ilkin Sultanov, an employee of the special representative office.

The Armenian residents of Garabagh were represented by Sergey Martirosyan and David Melkumyan. A representative of the Russian peacekeeping contingent takes part in the meeting as a participant.

During the meeting, issues related to the reintegration of the Armenian residents of Garabagh on the basis of the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan were discussed.

The central authorities of Azerbaijan were represented at the meeting by Ramin Mammadov, responsible for contacts with Armenian residents living in Azerbaijan’s Garabagh region, Bashir Hajiyev, Deputy Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories of the Karabakh economic region (excluding the Shusha region), and Ilkin Sultanov, an employee of the Special Representative Office.

On September 19, Azerbaijani Armed Forces launched an anti-terrorist measure in Garabagh in response to the mine terror by the Armenian sabotage group that killed four employees of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry.

As a result of a one-day campaign, Garabagh’s junta regime agreed to surrender and negotiate the reintegration process with Baku on September 21 in Azerbaijan’s Yevlakh city.
