Azerbaijan to support introduction of its ASAN service model in Colombia
Azerbaijan will support the introduction of its ASAN service model in Colombia, while Colombian civil servants will take part in exchange programmes focused on innovation in public services, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev has said.
Speaking at a reception marking Colombia's National Day, he noted that relations between Azerbaijan and Colombia, based on mutual trust, continue to develop dynamically, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
According to him, reciprocal visits and contacts have provided additional momentum to bilateral cooperation and contributed to strengthening political dialogue between the two countries.
The deputy foreign minister recalled that the sixth round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Colombia was held in April this year.
Rzayev also highlighted the important role of inter-parliamentary cooperation.
In his view, interaction between Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis and the Congress of Colombia, as well as the activities of parliamentary friendship groups in both countries, contributes to deepening parliamentary dialogue and strengthening mutual understanding.
He added that humanitarian cooperation remains one of the key areas of bilateral relations.
Cultural events regularly held in Azerbaijan and Colombia, along with other joint initiatives, help the peoples of the two countries become better acquainted with each other's rich cultural heritage and promote intercultural dialogue.
