Azerbaijan to use Türkiye's experience in digital healthcare

Azerbaijan will apply the experience of Türkiye in the field of digital health.

The announcement was heard at the Baku meeting of Health Ministers of Azerbaijan and Türkiye Teymur Musayev and Fahrettin Koca, Report informs.

Musayev noted that cooperation with the brotherly country is exemplary in the field of healthcare and medical science, as well as in all other areas.

The Azerbaijani minister underlined that the digitalization of the healthcare system is one of the priority issues the ministry headed by him is facing.

“As part of the working visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan to the brotherly country in May this year, we held discussions and meetings with our Turkish colleagues regarding digital healthcare. The experience of fraternal Türkiye in this area is invaluable. The Turkish model of digitalization is one of the most advanced in the world,” Musayev said.

He also added that cooperation between the two countries has become systematic throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
