Azerbaijan, Turkey agree on further intensification of co-op in various fields PHOTO

Speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Sahiba Gafarova has met with Chairman of the Turkish Court of Accounts Metin Yener.

While welcoming the guest, the speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament noted that relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are at a very high level, Report informs.

Gafarova added that as Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev emphasized, the Azerbaijan-Turkey relations have no alternative in the world political system.

“Our relations are developing on the “one nation, two states” principle. It is pleasant that our fraternal relations are being strengthened day by day. Mutual visits of the presidents and high-level delegations play a big role in the development of our relations,” she said.

While expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, Yener expressed satisfaction with the visit to Azerbaijan and the meetings held here.

He noted that the further intensification of cooperation between the two friendly and fraternal countries in various fields serves the common interests of the peoples.
