Azerbaijan, Türkiye deepen military ties during high-level staff talks PHOTO
Azerbaijani Deputy Defence Minister, Lieutenant General Namig Islamzade and a Turkish delegation have discussed the ways of deepening military ties during the 15th round of staff talks in Baku.
The 15th round of staff talks, bringing together representatives from the Air Forces of both nations was held as part of the ongoing "Bilateral Military Cooperation Programme" between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.
The discussions during the meeting led by Islamzade, who is also the commander of the Azerbaijani Air Force, highlighted the importance of the staff talks, emphasising their role in reinforcing military cooperation between Azerbaijani and Turkish Air Forces.
The Turkish delegation is headed by Head of the Material and Technical Support Department of the Turkish Air Force, Lieutenant General Hüseyin Duman.
Key topics included enhancing bilateral collaboration and exchanging valuable military experience between the two countries. The talks underscored the growing partnership between the two Air Forces and the shared commitment to strengthening defence relations.
