Azerbaijan, Türkiye discuss deepening of inter-parliamentary ties

A delegation of Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) headed by Speaker Sahiba Gafarova met with members of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Friendship Group of the Turkish Parliament within the framework of an official visit to Ankara, Milli Majlis told Report.

Shamil Ayrim, co-chairman of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group, welcomed the Azerbaijani delegation, spoke of the successful development of relations between the brotherly countries in all areas, and noted the special role of the heads of state of both countries in strengthening relations.

Members of the working group on inter-parliamentary relations with Türkiye Eldar Guliyev, Javanshir Pashazade, Agalar Veliyev, Fazil Mustafa, members of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Kemal Celik, Janturk Alagoz, Orhan Erdem, Mehmet Shahin, Ugur Bayraktutan talked of the current high level of bilateral relations, further deepening of inter-parliamentary ties.
