Azerbaijan, Türkiye expanding cooperation in military education PHOTO

A delegation led by Rector of the Turkish National Defence University, Professor Erhan Afyoncu has paid a visit to Azerbaijan.

The delegation visited the National Defence University of the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry and military educational institutions under the ministry, the ministry told Caliber.Az.

The guests were informed about the education system and educational process, the scientific activity of educational institutions included in the structure of the Defence Ministry, as well as the president’s care for the development of the military education system, reforms in the Azerbaijani army, its adaptation to the Turkish model.

The importance of military colleges established in Baku, Ganja and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was noted. The measures of improving the social and living conditions of cadets will greatly increase the interest of young people in military service.

The issues of further expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in military education were raised at the meeting. The views were exchanged on upcoming work in this sphere.
