Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Georgia plan strategic defence talks in Ankara photo
Ankara is set to host a high-level meeting of the defence ministers of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Georgia.
According to the Georgian Defence Ministry, cited by Caliber.Az, the tripartite meeting will focus on discussions in a trilateral format regarding strategic partnership and future plans to enhance cooperation among the three countries.
According to the announcement, the following year’s session of defence ministers is planned to take place in Azerbaijan.
Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Chikovani will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts, Yaşar Güler of Türkiye and Colonel General Zakir Hasanov of Azerbaijan, to further strengthen defence ties.
At the conclusion of the trilateral discussions, the ministers are expected to sign a joint declaration and deliver statements outlining the outcomes of the meeting.
