Azerbaijan, Türkiye mull possible collaboration opportunities in education sphere
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, and Türkiye's National Education Minister Yusuf Tekin have discussed the expansion of bilateral cooperation in education during a meeting in Baku.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the dynamic growth of the strategic partnership between the two countries, highlighting education as a key area of collaboration, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Particular attention was given to the upcoming opening of an Azerbaijani school in Istanbul in the next academic year, as well as Tekin’s visits to Karabakh University and secondary schools in Shusha, Fuzuli, and Aghdam, which were noted with appreciation.
The meeting underscored the importance of documents signed during the visit on cooperation in both general and vocational education.
The two officials also exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of joint educational projects, including vocational training, the activities of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan University, and other initiatives of mutual interest.
