Azerbaijan, Türkiye pledge to expand joint educational programs PHOTO
Colonel General Karim Valiyev, First Deputy Minister of Defence and Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, has met with a delegation led by Professor Talat Canbolat, Vice-Rector of the Turkish National Defence University, who is currently visiting Azerbaijan, to discuss bilateral military cooperation between the two nations.
Colonel General Valiyev underlined during the meeting that Azerbaijani–Turkish relations are rooted in a strong historical foundation. He also highlighted the significance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of military education, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Defence Ministry.
Valiyev noted that the mutual exchange of experience between the two countries plays a crucial role in enhancing the knowledge and professional skills of military personnel.
Professor Talat Canbolat, for his part, emphasized the high level of cooperation between Baku and Ankara in the sphere of military education.
The sides exchanged views on the current state of cooperation and discussed prospects for expanding joint activities in military education, along with other issues of mutual interest.
