Azerbaijan, Türkiye reaffirm “ever-expanding strategic alliance” in Istanbul talks PHOTO
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said he held talks with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan on the margins of the 10th Trilateral Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye in Istanbul.
Bayramov wrote on social media that he was “pleased to meet with my dear brother and colleague, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, on the margins of the 10th Trilateral Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye in Istanbul.”
He said the two sides exchanged views on the “ever-expanding Azerbaijan–Türkiye strategic alliance, regional developments, energy and connectivity projects, as well as efforts to promote peace, stability and prosperity in our region.”
Bayramov added that they “reaffirmed our commitment to further strengthening our brotherly ties and close coordination on issues of mutual interest.”
