Azerbaijan, Türkiye sign memorandum on cooperation in defence industry
A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defence Industry and Türkiye's Defence Industry Committee.
The signing ceremony took place during the visit of an Azerbaijani delegation to Ankara, led by Minister of Defence Industry Vugar Mustafayev, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defence.
The memorandum was signed by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Defence Industry Hidayat Azimov and Türkiye’s Deputy Chairman of the Defence Industry Committee Hakan Karataş.
Both parties stated that the agreement will make an important contribution to further expanding existing cooperation between the two brotherly nations in the defence industry, implementing joint projects, and strengthening mutual exchange of expertise.
They expressed confidence that the strategic partnership and alliance between Azerbaijan and Türkiye will continue to successfully develop across all areas.
