Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan to organise “Mother Nature” international event

Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan will jointly host the international “Mother Nature” event from Oct. 19 to Nov. 30, 2026.

The initiative was discussed during a meeting in Turkmenistan between Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

The event will take place in Turkmenistan and will be jointly organised by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.

According to the organisers, the initiative is expected to contribute to closer cooperation between the two foundations.

The meeting also focused on the state of bilateral relations, with the two sides noting the continued expansion of cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
