Azerbaijan, UAE discuss cooperation in defense industry

On July 19, Azerbaijani Minister of Defense Industry Madat Guliyev received UAE Ambassador to Baku Mohammed Al Blooshi.

At the meeting, Madat Guliyev expressed satisfaction with the high level of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE in various sectors of the economy, in particular in the defense industry.

Madat Guliyev said the ministry is always ready to cooperate with companies from the United Arab Emirates, Caliber.Az reports.

The ambassador assured that he would make every effort to further develop relations between Azerbaijan and the UAE.

During the meeting, relations between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates in the military-technical sphere were discussed, and views were exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.

The diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates were established on September 1, 1992. The trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $103 million in 2022.
