Azerbaijan, UAE discuss expanding strategic partnership at Gabala meeting Photo
On April 28, Jeyhun Bayramov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, met with a delegation led by Saeed Bin Mubarak Al Hajeri in the city of Gabala.
During the talks, both sides reviewed the current state of friendly and strategic relations between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates and explored prospects for further development, Caliber.Az reports per the Foreign Ministry.
They expressed satisfaction with the high level of political dialogue and discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation across a wide range of sectors, including economy, trade, investment, energy—particularly renewable energy—transport, logistics, high technology, and education.
Bayramov highlighted Azerbaijan’s favourable investment climate and outlined major infrastructure projects underway in the country. He emphasised the importance of greater involvement by UAE companies in these initiatives.

The meeting also covered regional and international issues of mutual interest, with both parties underscoring the need to strengthen cooperation on global platforms.
