Azerbaijan, UAE FMs discuss Middle East tensions, bilateral ties

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov discussed regional developments and bilateral relations by phone with his United Arab Emirates (UAE) counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on June 24.

The two ministers exchanged views on the latest tensions in the Middle East and their impact on regional peace and security, Caliber.Az reports via Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

They stressed the need to promote diplomacy and dialogue to help resolve Israeli-Iran conflict.

The ministers also discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation across various sectors and reviewed issues of mutual interest, the ministry added.
