Azerbaijani, UAE FMs discuss regional security challenges
On March 6, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan spoke by phone with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to discuss security matters.
During the conversation, the officials exchanged views on drone attacks targeting Azerbaijani territory and the current security situation, Caliber.Az reports via the foreign ministry.
Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan strongly condemned attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure, emphasising that such actions are unacceptable.
The ministers expressed concern over rising tensions in the Middle East and highlighted the importance of preventing further escalation.
They also discussed prospects for developing a strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates.
