Azerbaijan, UK explore new avenues in trade, investment, digital innovation

Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Hikmet Hajiyev, held a meeting with the United Kingdom’s trade envoy on Azerbaijan and Central Asia, Lord John Alderdice, to discuss deepening bilateral cooperation between the two nations across key sectors.

Hajiyev announced the meeting on his official X account, describing the discussion as productive and forward-looking, Caliber.Az reports.

“Glad to meet today Lord Alderdice, UK trade envoy on Azerbaijan and Central Asia. We had a great conversation on how we can further extend our bilateral trade, business and investment relations in the spirit of strategic partnership as well as seize the opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence, digital transformation and connectivity,” Hajiyev noted.
