Azerbaijan, Ukraine explore new horizons in shipbuilding cooperation
Azerbaijan and Ukraine have discussed the implementation of joint shipbuilding projects, Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Husyev said in a social media post following a meeting with Chairman of the Board of ASCO, Afghan Jalilov.
According to him, the sides reviewed prospects for expanding cooperation in maritime transport, logistics, and shipbuilding.
“Particular attention was paid to cooperation within the expansion of the Middle Corridor, ferry connections in the Caspian Sea and between Ukraine and the South Caucasus, as well as the implementation of joint infrastructure and shipbuilding projects,” he noted.
The Ukrainian ambassador also expressed gratitude to the leadership and people of Azerbaijan for their support of Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as for humanitarian assistance amid the ongoing conflict.
