Azerbaijan unveils new AI-enabled kamikaze drones at defence expo Photo
Azerbaijan’s defence manufacturer Arkan Innovations LLC has introduced three new kamikaze drones, marking a further step in the country’s push to expand its domestic military production capabilities.
The drones — Arkan-10, Arkan-10 FO, and Arkan-10 FT — were presented at the SAHA 2026 International Defence and Aerospace Exhibition held in Istanbul, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
According to the company, the new systems combine reconnaissance and strike functions and incorporate artificial intelligence features alongside enhanced autonomous control. The drones are designed with extended flight endurance, high maneuverability, and reduced radar visibility.
One variant, the Arkan-10 FO, utilises fibre-optic technology, which the manufacturer says significantly reduces detectability and susceptibility to electronic warfare measures.
The platforms are also designed to integrate with multiple weapon systems, positioning them for flexible deployment in modern combat environments.
