Azerbaijan, Uruguay discuss expanding bilateral cooperation, visa liberalisation Photo
Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Jeyhun Bayramov held talks on April 29 with Valeria Csukasi, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uruguay, focusing on strengthening ties between the two countries.
The sides reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and discussed prospects for further development. They highlighted the importance of deepening political dialogue, increasing the frequency of high-level visits, and enhancing institutional cooperation, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Foreign Ministry.

Both officials welcomed an existing agreement between their diplomatic academies and discussed opportunities to expand collaboration through joint training programmes, exchange of expertise, and educational initiatives. They also examined potential steps toward visa liberalisation aimed at facilitating travel between the two countries.
Following the meeting, a new round of political consultations was held, co-chaired by Elnur Mammadov and Valeria Chukasi, as part of ongoing efforts to advance bilateral engagement.
