Participants discussed the advancement of bilateral strategic cooperation across a wide range of areas, including energy, trade, transit, regional connectivity, economic investment, defense and security, counterterrorism, as well as artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.
These areas were identified as priority sectors in the Memorandum of Understanding on the Development of a Charter on Strategic Partnership, which was signed in August 2025 at the Washington Peace Summit.
The working group also continued detailed discussions on the draft text of the Charter, with the aim of finalising the document in the next stage of the process.
