Azerbaijan, US may establish green energy cooperation

Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov has met with US Charge d'Affaires ad interim in Azerbaijan Hugo Guevara.

According to the statement made at the meeting, Azerbaijan and the US have discussed cooperation opportunities within green energy, Report informs citing the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry.

The prospects for mutual cooperation between Azerbaijan and the US in the field of energy were also discussed at the meeting.

Interest in the US companies’ participation in other infrastructure projects in the energy sector was expressed during the meeting. The views on other issues of mutual interest were exchanged.
