Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan discuss bilateral relations
Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has discussed bilateral relations with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his visit to Tashkent.
Jabbarov conveyed Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's greetings to the Uzbek leader, Caliber.Az reports, citing his post on X.
“Mirziyoyev asked that his greetings be passed on to President Aliyev and expressed confidence that the friendship and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan would continue to develop successfully,” Jabbarov wrote.

The sides noted that bilateral relations had entered a qualitatively new stage thanks to the political will and joint efforts of the two presidents and exchanged views on diversifying economic cooperation, promoting trade and investment initiatives, and strengthening business ties.
Jabbarov visited Uzbekistan to attend the 15th session of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation.
