Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan to hold "Mastery-2024" tactical command-staff exercises
The Azerbaijani Defence Ministry has announced that joint tactical command-staff exercises with computer support titled "Mastery-2024" will be conducted involving military personnel from Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
The exercises will be held in line with the Bilateral Cooperation Plan for 2024, signed between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the ministry told Caliber.Az.
The exercises, which will commence at the Centre for War Games of the Azerbaijani Military Administration Institute on September 30, will involve over 100 servicemen from both countries.
The primary objective of the exercises is to enhance cooperation and improve the combat readiness of the operational units of the Azerbaijani and Uzbek armies. The training will focus on developing commanders' decision-making skills, initiative, and management abilities. The "Mastery-2024" tactical command-staff exercises will run until October 6.
