Azerbaijan, Venezuela mull enhancing bilateral cooperation PHOTO
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Venezuelan Deputy Foreign Minister Tatiana Pugh Moreno, during which they discussed a wide range of bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues between the two countries.
The discussions covered potential areas of collaboration in the economy, trade, energy, tourism, agriculture, culture, and education, Caliber.Az reports.
FM Bayramov highlighted the active political dialogue between the two countries, noting the importance of ongoing contacts through various visits and international events. He emphasized that such discussions are key for formulating specific plans across various sectors.
The sides underlined that their relationship is founded on mutual support and solidarity, and agreed on the significance of enhancing cooperation within multilateral platforms. Bayramov and Moreno also discussed the upcoming 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Venezuela, which will be celebrated in 2025. The ministers considered the possibility of launching joint initiatives and activities in this context.
During Moreno's visit to Baku, the second round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Venezuela was held. The consultations focused on the future prospects of bilateral and multilateral relations, plans for further development, and other regional and bilateral issues of mutual interest.
