Azerbaijan, Vietnam sign cooperation program between prosecutors’ offices PHOTO
The Prosecutor General’s Offices of Azerbaijan and Vietnam have signed a Cooperation Program aimed at strengthening legal ties between the two countries.
The agreement focuses on expanding cooperation in areas such as asset recovery and environmental protection, Caliber.Az reports, via the press service of Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General’s Office.
During a meeting between Azerbaijani Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev and his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Huy Tien, both sides highlighted the dynamic development of bilateral relations, driven by the political leadership of both states.
It was also noted that a draft treaty on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters has already been prepared and is undergoing domestic procedures in Azerbaijan.
The two sides agreed to further develop cooperation in extradition, training of prosecutors, and combating crime.
