Azerbaijan, Vietnam strengthen economic cooperation PHOTO

Azerbaijani officials have met a Vietnamese delegation led by Prosecutor General Nguyen Tien, who is on a working trip to enhance economic cooperation.

Prime Minister Ali Asadov and Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev held talks with Nguyen Tien, during which the sides highlighted the friendly nature of bilateral relations, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

The parties noted favourable opportunities for expanding cooperation in economic, trade, investment, and other areas.

The delegation also met with Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova.

As part of the visit, the guests toured the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan, where its chairman, Farhad Abdullayev, briefed them on the court’s activities and Azerbaijan’s constitutional guarantees for human rights and freedoms.
