Azerbaijani agriculture minister to visit Belgium
On May 2, Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Inam Karimov will pay an official visit to Belgium.
Report informs that the announcement came on the official page of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Belgium.
During the visit, the minister will tour the Flanders Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the experimental fields in Merelbeek.
“Azerbaijan has a very liberal foreign trade policy and a favourable business and investment climate with many fiscal incentives. There are no restrictions on technology transfer, foreign exchange or profit repatriation. There is no limit to the amount of foreign capital in local companies and no prior authorization is required for foreign investment,” the Flemish government said in a statement.
It is added that now Azerbaijan is especially interested in importing advanced agricultural machinery and technologies, digitalization, seed production and green innovations.
