Azerbaijani air defence units conduct comprehensive combat drills VIDEO
In line with the training objectives for this year, the Azerbaijani Army’s air defence units recently carried out a series of tactical and specialized exercises designed to enhance their combat capabilities.
The exercises involved the S-300 “Favorit” air defence missile systems, with personnel mobilizing their equipment to designated position areas.
Key activities included setting up the systems, redeploying to initial positions, preparing the terrain for operations, and implementing camouflage techniques to improve concealment and effectiveness.
During the drills, the air defence units effectively executed their tasks, which included defending vital infrastructure from simulated threats and repelling mock missile strikes from a hypothetical adversary. The exercises were structured to simulate real-world scenarios and test the readiness of the air defence systems under operational conditions.
The primary objectives of the training were to refine both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the servicemen. By engaging in these exercises, the air defence units aimed to enhance their tactical proficiency and maintain a high level of combat capability. This training ensures that personnel are well-prepared to address potential threats and effectively perform their duties in a real-world combat environment.
