Azerbaijani ambassador, Afghanistan’s minister share experience in pharmaceutical sphere

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Afghanistan Ilham Mammadov has met with Afghanistan’s Minister of Public Health Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali.

“Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Afghanistan Ilham Mammadov met with Minister of Public Health Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali. The Ministry of Public Health says that joint cooperation in the field of health, sharing experiences in the pharmaceutical industry, capacity building of Afghanistan's health personnel and a number of other topics were discussed in the meeting,” Caliber.Az reports citing RTA’s message on X.

The Azerbaijan-Afghanistan relations encompass diplomatic, economic, and cultural interactions between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. These relations have developed significantly since both countries established diplomatic ties in the early 1990s.

In recent years, the relationship between Azerbaijan and Afghanistan has continued to strengthen through various bilateral agreements and collaborative projects. Both nations have emphasised the importance of enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, and regional security.

The Azerbaijan-Afghanistan relations are characterised by a commitment to mutual support, regional stability, and the development of strong diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties.
