Azerbaijani ambassador attends reception organized by the Queen of Denmark PHOTO

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark Zaur Ahmadov attended the New Year reception organized by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark for ambassadors accredited in this country.

The reception was organized at the royal palace of Christiansborg.

"Honoured to attend Her Majesty the Queen’s New Year Reception at Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen, Denmark and extend best wishes to Her Majesty the Queen and Their Royal Highnesses the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess of Denmark," the diplomat said on his page on social network X, Caliber.Az reports.

To recall, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark announced during the traditional New Year's speech that she would abdicate on January 14 after 52 years on the throne.

"I will leave the throne to my son, Crown Prince Frederik," she said in her televised greeting.
