Azerbaijani ambassador extends COP29 invitation to Tunisian leader
Tunisian President Kais Saied formally accepted the credentials of Tural Rzayev, the newly appointed Azerbaijani Ambassador to Tunisia and Algeria.
During the meeting, Ambassador Rzayev conveyed warm regards from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and expressed his commitment to enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports citing local media.
Ambassador Rzayev also extended an invitation to President Saied to attend the COP-29 climate conference scheduled to take place in Baku in November.
President Saied graciously accepted the invitation and conveyed his greetings to President Aliyev.
He expressed Tunisia's keen interest in strengthening political, economic, and humanitarian ties with Azerbaijan and wished Ambassador Rzayev success in his diplomatic mission.
