Azerbaijani army conducts over 400 exercises in 2023

The Azerbaijani army conducted 423 exercises in 2023.

Thus, the Azerbaijani army conducted 143 special tactical, 261 tactical, eight flight tactical, seven naval combat, four command and staff mobilisation exercises, as well as commando courses and sniper training courses in 2023, according to Caliber.Az.

Such a statement was made at the meeting at the Education and Training Centre of the Azerbaijani Army for representatives of the Defence Ministry, responsible for the work with the media, journalists and experts on January 19.

According to the message, Azerbaijani servicemen took part in 21 international exercises both within the country and in other countries in 2023.

The Defence Ministry published 955 articles, 4,224 photos and 403 video footages related to the coverage of its events in 2023.

Some 854 of 955 articles were translated into Russian and English.
